Why do I need a gun bore snake?

In the case of a very dirty barrel, after using RifleCX’s Bore Foam and then rinsing it with Gun Cleaner or Care Spray, it is a good idea to clean the barrel at least twice with bore snake.
This will ensure that you remove any remaining dirt and dry the barrel of the product. This is especially important if you don’t have the wipers with you.
Always insert the bore snake from the cartridge chamber and pull it towards the barrel exit. The string should always be pulled straight out of the barrel. Pulling out at an angle can damage the barrel crown.
The Riflecx bore snake has the ability to connect the end and the beginning of the string – this greatly speeds up cleaning the barrel several times.
